BRAND NAMING
AND IDENTITY

Toyota wanted to enter the car sharing market with a new brand that would compete with the likes of Zipcar across all European cities, so we undertook a brand naming exercise shortlisting Vamos and Yuko before settling on Yuko (‘lets go’ in Japanese), together with the circles which evoke a sense of destinations. The identity was trialled in 2 European countries before being rolled out across all.
